As an up coming photographer I'm starting to wish this
place wasn't so sugar coated and people would genuinely
give constructive criticism so I myself can grow and learn
from my mistakes. Yes its nice to also be commended on the
works I have done but please feel free to kindly criticize my
works. Surfing through all the deviants on DeviantArt I noticed
that not many people are willing to force up real opinions on
photography but rather praise the piece as if god wiped his
ass with it. Simply buffing up the egos of photographers that
aren't yet professionals so that when that one honest member
suggests some tips their now blown off because they've grown
so cocky from all the praise. Maybe I'm insane but I believe
its better to grow then stay stuck at a lower level for the rest
of my photography life.
